Privacy Policy

The short version: our apps have no accounts, show no ads and contain no analytics or advertising SDKs. What you do in an app stays on your device. The only outside service that receives anything is the one that checks whether your subscription is active, and it never learns your name or email.
Who we are and what this covers
haziapp (“we”, “us”) is an independent developer of mobile apps for iOS and Android. This policy covers the haziapp website at haziapp.com and every app we publish under the haziapp name, including Positions. Where an app works differently, it has its own section below.
We are the controller of the limited data described here. You can reach us by email.
Positions
Positions is an app for consenting adults aged 18 and over. It has no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or any other contact detail.
What stays on your device only
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Your current session: the rounds it drew, their durations, and how far through you are.
- Your Keep and Pass choices, which shape future draws.
- Your settings, such as sound.
- A cached copy of the position catalogue.
None of this is sent to us or anyone else. It is erased when you delete the app or clear its data.
Content updates
The full catalogue is built into the app. When you are online, the app may also download the latest catalogue from our server. That request contains no identifier, account or information about how you use the app. Like any web request, it reveals your IP address and device type to our server, which uses them only to deliver the response and to protect the service against abuse. We do not use them to identify or profile you.
Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details. To check whether a subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives a random, anonymous identifier created on your device together with the purchase receipt from the store. This lets the app unlock content and lets Restore Purchases work on a new device. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
What Positions never does
- It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and shows no ads.
- It does not track you across other apps or websites, so it never shows a tracking prompt.
- It does not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location.
- It does not record which positions you were shown or chose anywhere other than on your device.
This website
haziapp.com is a static website hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and use them only to reply.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. The only processors involved are the ones named above: Apple and Google for payments, RevenueCat for subscription status, and Cloudflare for hosting.
Retention
Data held on your device stays there until you delete the app. Server request logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service. Emails you send us are kept while the conversation is useful and deleted on request.
Children
Positions is strictly for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at anyone younger. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete the message.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because our apps hold no account or identifier that points to you, we normally hold no app data about you to export or delete: deleting the app is the deletion. For data held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat, you can also use their own privacy controls. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the current version will always be at this address with the date of the change at the top. If an app starts collecting something new, we will update this policy before that version is released.
